We would like to invite you to the Annual Forum of the Sussex Mental Health Insight Forum, taking place on 6th February 2024, from 1 pm to 4 pm.

Since its establishment in September 2022, the Sussex Mental Health Insight Forum has become an essential platform for discussing key topics in mental health and integrating insights and strategies that will further improve mental health services.

Our journey began with a focus on neurodiversity and neurodevelopmental services in our first session on 29th September 2022. Since then we have focussed on a range of related issues, including eating disorders, mental health and housing, access to urgent emergency care, and the integration of digital technology in mental health services. Each session has provided helpful insights regarding service user and carer experience and has enhanced our understanding and approach to these areas of work.

Our next Forum is dedicated to reflecting on our progress and outlining future steps. We will be sharing feedback from the five key service areas – Neurodevelopmental, Eating Disorders, Housing, Urgent Emergency Care, and Digital – in a structured "You Said, We Did, We Plan" format. This will be our opportunity to hear about the tangible actions taken to enhance these services based on insights from the forum and the service improvements made through our commitment to co-production.

Your continued participation in the forum is invaluable in shaping the future of mental health care in Sussex and we welcome your insights, experiences, and perspectives to support us to enhance mental health services in Sussex.

Please book your place using this survey. Spaces are limited, so we encourage you to reserve your spot as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
