NHS Sussex is working towards improving how patients are discharged from hospitals.
Getting people back home from hospital, or to another setting such as a care home, safely and in a way that is planned with both the patient and their family and friend carers (if relevant) is a priority for our health and care services. We want to ensure that the voices of patients, carers and the public are at the heart of our work and influence the design and delivery of services.
NHS Sussex, in collaboration with the research agency Livework, wants to hear from people and their families who have recently experienced being discharged from a hospital in Sussex.
We are looking for people to participate in one-to-one interviews to discuss their experiences of hospital discharge. The interview can take place in person, online or via telephone – whatever is best for you – and will need to take place between 6th - 27th September 2023.
Interview participants will receive £25 as a thank you for their time.
