Background
NHS Sussex is using more digital technology and information to help join-up our services in a way that will transform people’s experience of health and care services.
Our ambition is for our people and communities to be able to:
use high-quality digital and data technologies, such as NHS App and My Health and Care Record, that supports them to live healthier lives, and manage their health and wellbeing;
have one shared care record so that they can communicate and plan with those involved in their care, using real-time health data which is secure; and,
benefit from health and care professionals securely sharing data to better plan and deliver services across Sussex that meets the needs of our population.
You can find out more about how we plan to improve the use of digital technology and information in the Plan for our Population.
